Mealtimes can get silly and rowdy with our 4 kiddos but whenever I remember to pull out our Bible Topics cards things settle down and we can have interesting and meaningful fun. Not just for game night!
I played the game with my 10 year old son at home! My favorite part of the game was when we pulled a card we didn’t know the answer to so we had to go searching the Word for it!
Bible Topics is a fun a way to explore the Bible with your friends. It has questions that will make you laugh and take some deep introspection.
My experience was very enjoyable. There were 6 people in the group, and we played it via Zoom because we’re all in different states. I assume we were all in our rooms, at least I was. Since one person had the game, that person facilitated and we took turns answering the questions. My favorite part of the game was of course hearing all of the different answers. You really get a sense of a person's personality through their choices and the way they answer the questions. For example, one of the questions was,"which Bible character would you follow on social media?" and one of the guys answered "I would follow all of Job's daughters because they were supposed to be the farest in the land. We all laughed and I retorted something along the lines of, Now we’re getting to who you really are!" and one of the other guys was laughing a bit too hard so I asked him if he was following suit and he gave a resolute "NO!" and then the laughter just erupted. Then we had a long moment with a situation with Lot (I won't go into that one lol) and the leeks & onions of Egypt. Twas good times, good times."
I like the range of questions. Played with a group of friends. The topics really kept the conversations going.
